Accounting & People Operations Specialist

We’re looking for an Accounting & People Operations Specialist to support our Controller and help keep both our finances and our team running smoothly. If you’re detail-obsessed, people-oriented, and excited to grow your skills in a hands-on role, you’ll love it here.

 

What you’ll do

Accounting (≈60%)

  • Own day-to-day bookkeeping, including AP/AR processing
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
  • Prepare reports and assist with the month-end close
  • Process payroll and update financial information
  • Work within Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)

 

People Operations / HR (≈40%)

  • Recruit, coordinate interviews, and onboard new hires (you’ll help build great candidate experiences)
  • Maintain personnel files and HRIS records
  • Administer benefits, leave, and policy documentation
  • Serve as Office Supervisor—be a go-to problem solver for employees and visitors

 

What makes you a great fit

  • Degree in Accounting and/or Human Resources and 5+ years of proven experience
    We welcome strong candidates with equivalent experience (e.g., 2–5+ years in combined accounting/HR) to apply.
  • Comfort with spreadsheets, numbers, and financial reports
  • Experience with accounting software; NetSuite familiarity is a plus
  • Analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and excellent time management
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • A positive, proactive approach—you enjoy owning tasks and helping a team succeed
  • Microsoft Office (Excel especially); NetSuite proficiency a plus
