Where can I find safety data sheets (SDS)?

You can view or download SDS form on each product page. For specific SDS forms, please contact our office at customerservice@walex.com or 1-800-338-3155, and we will be happy to send you the appropriate sheets.

Do your products ever expire?

Eventually, yes. All of our products have about a two-year shelf life before you’ll begin to see changes in the way the formula looks, smells, or works.

Why am I getting an error message when I enter my credit card information?

There are several reasons for problems with credit card transactions:

  • Your card may have expired or reached its limit. Please check with your credit card provider if you are having issues using your card.
  • There may be a transaction error either on our end or your bank’s. In this case, please try entering in your information again at a later time.
  • If you continue to have problems, you can contact someone to help by calling our office at 1-800-338-3155.

Where is the confirmation email for my online order?

There are a couple of reasons you may not have gotten a confirmation email:

  • Your confirmation email may have been captured in your spam filter. Check your spam folder to see if it could be there.
  • Your order might not have been completed. If you were not brought to a confirmation page upon completing your order, it’s likely that something happened that prevented your order from being completed. You’ll need to re-enter your order in this case. If you have reached a confirmation page and still did not receive a confirmation email, you can check the status of your order here. If you would like to contact someone about the status of your order, please contact our office at 1-800-338-3155.

How do I cancel my online order?

Since most orders ship out the following day, orders may only be canceled the day they were placed. If you need to cancel your order, please call our office at 1-800-371-2242 or email us at customercare@walex.com

How much does it cost to ship my order?

It’s no secret that cleaning products are heavy and shipping can be expensive. To help keep your shipping costs down, we work with several freight companies to work out the best deal for your location. You can find your shipping cost on your emailed invoice. If you do not receive an emailed invoice, you can sign up to start receiving them here or call our office at 1-800-338-3155.

Are your drums and totes recyclable?

Yes.

How much water should I be mixing with liquid deodorizer?

To find the recommended dilution rates, check the product label or product page on our website.

Can I use Walex dilutable cleaners as a refill in my Walex spray bottle or use it in another spray bottle?

We recommend using Walex cleaning products in our chemical resistant refillable bottles. Not all bottles are made equally and do not hold up well.


Definitions

What is a “surfactant”?

Surfactants are a category of compounds that are, quite simply, plain old soap. These compounds help dissolve organic materials (like grease, oils, dirt, etc) into the water.

What does Walex mean when it says “biodegradable”?

A material that can biodegrade is one that will break down in the environment. In the presence of water, air, and microbes, materials that biodegrade are converted into elements typically found in nature.

What does Walex mean when it says “non-toxic”?

“Non-toxic” can describe an ingredient or an entire formula. It is used for a formula when all of the ingredients meet a certain level of non-toxicity, or when the modeled sum of all of the ingredient toxicities is less toxic than a widely accepted threshold for safety. To assess the toxicity of our formulations, we use data from raw material suppliers, as well as extensive in-house laboratory testing.
