Walex is a family-run business that a father and son created in their kitchen and grew into a worldwide industry leader.
Walex has expanded tremendously since Bill and Bob Williams created the company’s first product, PT-50, in their kitchen nearly four decades ago. However, we proudly remain a privately owned, founder-led company that can work quickly and respond to our customers’ needs without anything getting in the way. We invest in engineering, research, customer support, and design.
The Walex competitive edge is our people. We strive to create an environment where each team member wants to come to work and feels that they have an opportunity to contribute, grow, and benefit from our company’s success. As a result, many team members have been with the company for decades. In fact, We’ve retained our first-ever employees and our first customer to this day.

Our dedicated Research & Development team, led by Ph.D. scientists, creates powerful, safe, and easy-to-use formulas that set industry standards. They don’t just develop products—they solve the everyday challenges RV owners face, like eliminating odors, improving sensor function, and cleaning tough stains.
Walex was first to market with portion-controlled deodorizers like Porta-Pak and continues to lead with best-sellers like Commando and Bio-Pak. These products use natural enzymes and advanced chemistry to break down waste and paper. Recently, we’ve expanded into precision liquid treatments like Bio-Fresh and Elemonate Liquid.
Each product undergoes rigorous lab and field testing to ensure reliable performance in every condition, from desert heat to freezing mountain nights.
